Nana Antwi Boasiako II, the Chief of Sekyedumase within the Ejura Sekyedumase municipality in the Ashanti Region, has ceremoniously cut the sod for the construction of a state-of-the-art maternity block.
The ultramodern maternity block is slated to be erected at the new site of the Sekyedumase hospital, promising improved medical services for expectant mothers and their newborns.
This ambitious project is a collaborative effort between the traditional council and members of the Sekyedumase diaspora residing in Europe, collectively driven by a shared commitment to uplifting their community.
Mr. Kontor, Chairman of the Diaspora in Europe, elaborated on the motivations behind their involvement in the project, citing a deep-seated desire to give back to their roots and support the advancement of healthcare facilities in Sekyedumase.
