Benab FC secures Fourth consecutive qualification for Middle League

Benab FC has once again stamped their authority in the Ashanti Region football scene, securing their fourth consecutive qualification for the Middle League in a display of remarkable consistency and skill.

In a fiercely contested season in the Ashanti Region football circuit, Benab FC demonstrated their dominance with a string of impressive performances, culminating in their qualification for the Middle League.

In a thrilling match that kept fans on the edge of their seats, Benab demonstrated their prowess on Saturday as they triumphed over Namoro with a 3-1 victory in the Ashanti Region Movie House Division Two League, securing their place in the middle league.

The intense match, held at the Atonsu Astro Turf, saw Benab showcasing a vintage performance, sealing their dominance in Zone 6. With the win, Benab opened up a seven-point lead over their competitors with just two games remaining in the season.

Despite an early setback with Namoro taking the lead from a penalty awarded in the 7th minute, Benab showed resilience, equalizing just before halftime thanks to a goal from their leading marksman, Prince Balladom.

After the break, Benab intensified their attack, taking the lead with a spectacular goal from 14-year-old Danger, who dazzled the crowd with his skillful play. Namoro’s hopes dwindled further as they were reduced to 10 men due to a red card following a challenge on Danger.

Benab sealed their victory with a second goal from Prince, beautifully assisted by Enoch, putting the game out of Namoro’s reach. Despite a setback with their skipper, Gilbert, receiving a red card, Benab held firm, securing the 3-1 lead until the final whistle.

With this win, Benab not only secured their place in the Ashanti Region Division Two middle league.

Under the astute leadership of Coach Abu Adams, Benab FC showcased their talent and determination throughout the season, remaining unbeaten after 12 games and boasting an impressive record of 10 wins and 2 draws.

Coach Abu’s side sitting comfortably at the top of the table with 32 points.
